FPC Stories and Histories
Over its almost 185 year existence, FPC's story has been told and retold many times. Here are many of the versions of that story, each unique and interesting in its own right.

This 1911 publication includes a short history of FPC written by Dr. Mary Van Nuys
This 1940 centennial celebration booklet contains a nice history of FPC written by Miss Clara Van Nuys, perhaps the daughter of the 1911 history writer.
This 1965 booklet celebrating FPC's 125th anniversary contains a well written history of FPC by Boone County historian Ralph Stark. It includes lots of anecdotes about church life at various times in FPC's past.
This 1988 dedication document to a building project completed that year contains a nice year by year bullet style listing of "Historical Highlights" of FPC.
This 1990 booklet celebrating FPC's 150th anniversary contains a thorough history of FPC written by Ben Cragun and Dr. Phil Gibbs that also includes a very detailed history of the Churstian Church going all the way back to the 1st century.
This 2015 set of pages contains the presentation of church history presented during FPC's 175th anniversary celebration event.
