Thursday, December 21st. On the night of winter solstice when the night is the longest of the year, we had a candle lighting service of comfort and hope. We prayed all those people in the dark and sorrow. We remembered our saints who went to the Lord in recent years.
Monday, December 18th. During the Advent Season, Wonderful members of our church have been collecting the toys to make the children in Boone County happy, and the giant toy box overflowed. Jane and Sig Myers delivered the toys to the local fire station.Â
From Sunday, November 26th through Sunday, December 17th. During the Advent season in this year of 2023 for four Sundays, we were much blessed with all kinds of wonderful, lovely, and amazing music performances.
Sunday, December 17th. We welcome Ryan Nunley as our newest member to this congregation. The session previously approved him to be a member and he finished the new member class. May God bless Ryan and his family each and every day!

Sunday, December 10th. It was our blessing to have Bud Hunter our the church organist who enriched the worship service with wonderful organ performance. As he is retiring (last performance on Sunday, December 31st), we honoured him.
Sunday, December 10th. There was a Christmas Festival at Central Christian Church at 3PM. Bess Wilkes and Bruce McConnell sang there.
Sunday, December 10th. The Madrigals, Lebanon High School Choir came to church, and sang lovely Christmas carols with their wonderful and beautiful voices in the sanctuary after the postlude.
Sunday, December 10th. Goodnight Family (or more likely Reynolds Family) lit the first three Advent candles of Hope, Peace, and Joy.
Sunday, December 3rd. Mr. Tom Garoffollo sang "Joseph's Lullaby," composed by Mercy Me, as a Special Music.
Sunday, December 3rd. Kendra Whipkey and Jennie Woods performed "He Is Born," arr. by Douglas E. Wagner, as a Song of Respond, replacing the regular second hymn.
Sunday, December 3rd. Margi McConnaha and Bess Wilkes lit the first two Advent Candles of Hope and Peace. Bess also had her testimony.
Saturday, December 2nd. At the Saturday after John's 91st birthday, during the Saturday Bible Study, we celebrated his birthday. Bess Wilkes baked an angel cake for the celebration.
Friday, December 1st, Noon. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Parky's Smokehouse in Lebanon. Due to busy season (with Thanksgiving, Advent, etc), we decided to meet just once covering for November and December.
Friday, December 1st 10AM / Sunday, December 3rd 5:30PM. PPM (Presbyterian Preschool Ministry) had the 2023 Christmas Programme. They were cute and talented, and made us proud of t hem.
Sunday, November 26th. Hannah, Samuel, and pastor Je lit the first Advent Candle of Hope.
Sunday, November 19th. To thank God for His generosity of giving us abundance, we had Harvest Dinner on this Sunday (before Thanksgiving Day). There were two turkeys (wrapped in 9 lbs bacons), and lots of appetisers and desserts.
Sunday, November 19th. Live for Life Indiana is a ministry helping women in trouble through various ways including a women shelter in Lebanon. The co-founders (Michelle Standeford, Karen Young) and two residents came and spoke about their ministry, and the ways how we can work torgether for this valuable local ministry of God.
Wednesday, November 15th. To honour and to express the gratefulness to our heroic veterans who served the country in the US military, pastor Je invited them for lunch at pizzahut in Lebanon.
Sunday, November 12th. On this Veterans Sunday, the proud veterans of United States of America in this congregation greeted the worshippers. We are very much thankful and grateful for their heroic service for this wonderful country and for protecting us safe.
Wednesday, November 8th. The PPM got new pieces of play furniture to make the rennovated fellowship hall a better and safer indoor playground for the little children.
Tuesday, November 7th. The Church Library is renewed with the brand new furniture pieces, mostly couches and chairs. More furniture (various tables) will come soon. The old furniture pieces were all donated to local charity organisation.
Sunday, October 29th. On Reformation Sunday, Scott Hutcheson performed a monologue, "A Visit with Martin Luther."
Thursday, October 19th - Saturday, October 28th. The Fellowship hall and connecting hallway floor was replaced. The old tiles were completely removed and the new flooring was installed during the PPM's fall break.
Friday, October 27th. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Bookers Bar & Grill on 109 N. Main Street, Kirlkin. Being only restaurant in a very small town, we were too big of a group for them to handle. We waited more than an hour and twenty minutes for the food, which made us hungry and in turn our hunger made the food very tasty.
Tuesday, October 17th. Time for Tea is a church ladies' group meeting on 3rd Tuesday monthly at 11AM.
Friday, September 29th. The Gourmet Seekers met at the 'So Italian' on 515 E. Main Street, Brownsburg. It was a self-serving fast food style Italian restaurant.
Sunday, August 27th. Rev. Myung Sung Han & Rev. Jieun Kim Han are the mission liaisons of the Presbyterian Church USA Mission Agency for East Asia, stationed in Seoul, Korea. Rev. Jieun Kim Han preached, and both of them gave us the mission report of PCUSA in East Asia while eating pizza lunch (from Arni's).
Friday, August 25th. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Heidelberg Haus (German restaurant) on Pendleton Pike, Indianapolis.
Friday, July 28th. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Harmony Steakhouse in Whitestown.
Sunday, June 25th, 10AM. The Worship in the Park was supposed to be at the Herr Cabin in the Memorial Park. But due to the forecasted rain, it was moved to indoor at the Central Christian Church.
Friday, June 23rd. The Gourmet Seekers met at the LA Cafe in Whitestown down town.
Sunday, June 11th. Our monthly communal fellowship luncheon for June was on the 11th after the Sunday worship service. In the hot and drought season, we had rain and cooled it down. What a perfect day to have the fellowship luncheon together!
Friday, May 26th. The Gourmet Seekers met at the El Rodeo on the Whitestown Parkway.
Sunday, May 21st. We celebrated the high school graduates who accomplished their study and going to colleges for further and deeper study.
Sunday, May 21st. Rev. Joseph Park from the Purdue Korean Presbyterian Church came and preached.
Thursday, May 11th. The renovation of the PPM Playground began. When the renovation is over, our children will have better, funner, and happier time there.
Friday, April 21st. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Longhorn Steakhouse on 86th street.
Sunday, April 16th. PPM--Presbyterian Preschool Ministry was celebrated at the worship service on the third Sunday of April. Little children's singing and dancing were always fun to watch.
Sunday, April 9th, 11AM. During the Easter Sunday morning worship service, we as a church of Jesus Christ baptised Calisto Nunley, a baby boy in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. May God guide every step of this little lovely boy all through his life.
Sunday, April 9th, 10:30AM. Hallelujah! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! We celebrated the resurrection of our Saviour on the Easter morning with music, light, Scriptures, and more music!
Friday, April 7th, 7PM. Good Friday Service with Scriptures and Music was at the sanctuary without the ceiling lights. At each Scripture reading, one candle was put off, all the way to the Christ Candle.
Thursday, April 6th, 6PM. We commemorated the Last Supper of Jesus on Maundy Thursday. As Jesus had a typical Jewish meal, we also had a typical American meal--baked potato.
Sunday, April 2nd. We celebrated the Palm Sunday-the triumphan entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. There were lots of palm fronds.
Friday, March 31st. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Thai Select on the Whitestown Parkway.
Wednesday, March 15th, Meal 6PM, Service 7PM. During Lent, the local churches came together on Wednesdays for fellowship over meal and worship together. The Community Soup & Supper of the third Wednesday in Lent was at the First Presbyterian Church.
Sunday, March 12th. During the monthly communal luncheon, we had a mission kick-off, "Dignity for Women" with guest speakers.
Sunday, March 12th. Sigmon Myers was ordained as an elder, and was installed along with Arlene Quinn to the service in the session.

Friday, February 24th. The Gourmet Seekers met at the Ma Ma's Korean Restaurant on Pendleton Pike.
Wednesday, February 22nd, 7PM. Central Christian Church and First Presbyterian Church had joint Ash Wednesday Service. Message by Rev. Lee, and Communion by Rev. Kibler. We had wonderful joint choir.
Sunday, February 19th. We have one party for three things--Mardi Gras, Valentine's Day, and Shrove Tuesday Sunday. Good food, good music, above all, good people of God.
Sunday, February 12th. The February communal lunch and Souper Bowl of Caring. We got fried chicken from Kroger, and several yummy home cooked soups and desserts from the members. There was a collection plate for the Souper Bowl of Caring. We collected over $300 which was donated to the Caring Centre to feed our hungry neighbours.
Sunday, January 8th. The first communal lunch which will occur every second Sunday of each month. We had yummy sandwiches from Kroger and had fellowship. It was a Star Sunday, and even the plates were in star shape.
